El owns and runs the Reasons To Be Cheerful bar, which just celebrated its 3rd birthday. She tells us about opening the bar, and what went into the decision to do it, choosing a venue, researching the area and actually getting people in for a beer.
We also hear El’s thoughts on making the bar part of the community and a welcome space for everyone, and how she went about doing that.
From the look of the place to the cask and keg selection we hear about what makes R2BC unique, as El tells us about some of the ups and downs of owning an independent beer bar in 2020.
